Who we are
Macedo & Peres Advogados was founded in 1989 in the city of São Miguel do Oeste/SC, initially operating in the area of Banking Law.
In 1994, our office moved to the city of Criciúma/SC and in 1999 to Santa Cruz do Sul/RS where it permanently established its headquarters and restructured its corporate structure, also starting to work in Tax, Business and Agrarian Law.
Currently, in view of the advancement of computerization in relations with customers and the legal system, we have an International Center for consultancy and assistance in operations involving business abroad.
Combined with knowledge and law experience, we are specialists in legal English involving international contracts and any demand related to law that requires the English language.
In this way, we are a law firm that seeks to merge experience with innovation, providing a suited legal support to the new reality of the market, in a specialized manner and with the aim of meeting the national and international demands of our clients.

Rural Business Law
We offer consultancy, advisory and legal services for demands arising from Rural Activities, including planning, management and contracts.
We assist our clients in the regularization of rural areas in accordance with legal norms, such as the legal reserve area, georeferencing, CCIR (Rural Property Registration Certificate), ITR (Rural Territorial Tax), CAR (Rural Environmental Registry), ADA (Environmental Declaratory Act). Additionally, we provide assistance in the preparation of the Carbon Stock Inventory (CPR-Verde)."
Corporate Law and Succession Planning
We provide legal services focused on the legal and economic analysis of companies in various industries. Our services encompass drafting of bylaws and articles of association, shareholder/member agreements, general assemblies and the review and (re)structuring of existing corporate structures.
We also assist in succession planning, establishing asset and wealth management structures, corporate and personal family governance, conflict resolution, asset restructuring, and the establishment of holding companies (family or business).Furthermore, we provide consultancy services for real estate acquisition and disposal.
